Our Story

A Passion for community and service while creating a serene and nurturing experience for all visitors

Meet the Innkeeper:

Lynn was born and raised in rural southwestern Ontario where she learned the importance of family and community. Being a mother of two grown sons, her background in pastoral studies, her passion for local service, and her fine attention to detail all help in her welcoming guests from all over the world to Haines Junction. If she is not at the inn, you can find Lynn out exploring the breathtaking mountainous terrain of Kluane and enjoying the beauty of the northern landscape.

The Innkeeper’s Kluane Sister

Lynn first met Grace upon her arrival to the Yukon in 2011. They shared many stories over the years and became lifelong friends and sisters. Grace gave Lynn her Champagne and Aishihik name, “Dangha ach’e”, which means “she is always helping people”. Lynn’s prayer shawl that she wears at community potlatches and celebrations was designed by local fashion designer Benda Asp. It bears the traditional raven logo gifted to Lynn by Grace. This traditional raven logo became the inn’s signature of today.
